Vintage Art Deco Chinese Carved Carnelian Enamel Necklace, Floral Motifs, Chinese Symbols, Hexagonal Silver Links, Lariat/Y-Necklace, 17" L

Gorgeous Art Deco Chinese carved carnelian enamel pendant necklace. There are 4 carved red stones with intricate floral designs throughout the necklace. One larger marquise-shaped stone on the Y-pendant, 2 smaller round-shaped stones flanking either side of the pendant, and 1 of similar design on the box clasp. All the stones are prong set with silver backings. There are also 3 rectangular silver panels, each stationed above a stone, that feature red and white enamel Chinese symbols. The silver necklace chain is made up of long flat hexagonal links with subtle texturing, and a round box slide clasp closure. Given its age, the necklace does have some notable discoloration and wear, but still beautiful and in overall good condition.
