A timeless hand-carved cameo ring set in 10k gold. Features a classic relief shell carving of a woman/girls bust in a ribbon embellished bezel setting. The majority of the cameo frame is filled with the white silhouetted figure and has an unusual elongated oval shape. The setting is mounted on a thin yellow gold band with a nice polished finish. There is a reminisce of a hallmark on the outer band, but it is too worn to distinguish its details. We're not certain of its age or origin, but we have tested the gold for authenticity.

There are a few minor dings to the sides of the bezel setting but the cameo remains intact with retained detail. The thin gold band can be warped somewhat easily, but its not difficult to adjust/round-out if necessary. Overall this ring is in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and discoloration.
