An incredible Victorian hardstone cameo ring in 18k rose gold. Features a thick oval cameo relief of a ladies bust set atop stunning flare split shoulders with beautiful embossing and engraved designs. Cameos are typically made from a carved shell, but this beauty looks to be made from some type of agate gemstone, perhaps carnelian.

The inside of the rose gold band has been stamped '18' and the gold has been acid tested for authenticity. In amazing condition for its age with only minor wear and discoloration.
