Leo Wagner Sterling Silver Enameled Snuff Box, Gilt Interior, Geometric Inlay, Repousse Trim

An incredible sterling silver enamel snuff box made by Leo Wagner in Austria during the 1920's. Features a mix of bold geometric patterns and elegant repousse details. The front of the case is decorated with black, red and white enamel and the back holds a solid black inlay. The lid in hinged connected and can be opened with a small silver lip to reveal a beautiful gilt interior, stamped with an Austrian hallmark and '308 Sterling'.

Unfortunately there is some damage to the enamel design, including 2 chips on the front case, as well as scuffs/scratches to the overall facade (see photos), but the piece in its entirety remains functional and aesthetic. In good vintage condition with described wear and tarnishing.
