Antique Art Deco 14k White Gold Filigree Diamond Necklace Cameo Brooch Pendant, Floral Embellished Rectangle Frame, 48mm

A timeless Art Deco diamond necklace cameo brooch pendant set in 14k white gold. Features a rectangular WG filigree frame bezel set with a large classic relief carved oval cameo of ladies bust. The four corners of the filigree frame are decorated with textured floral/ribbon embellishments, and the cameo is adorned with lovely diamond pendant necklace. The old-mine cut diamond is approximately .03 CT and sits in an oxidized hexagonal setting with wire strands that wrap around busts neck and tie in the back. The carved cameo bust is studded with floral ornaments and has wonderful retained detail.

The back of cameo setting holds a horizontal WG pin with an early-made safety latch and hidden hinged necklace loop. The pin latch has been hallmarked '14K' and the gold has been acid tested for authenticity. Imperfections include warping to the safety pin, minor diamond wear, and a raised corner ribbon embellishment (top right - see photos). Otherwise, this cameo brooch remains in excellent condition for its age with appropriate wear and discoloration.
