An incredibly eye-catching abstract modernist gold vermeil sterling silver menorah pendant brooch pin. Features an abstruse yellow gold candelabra form with cutout silhouetted shapes and raised/textured decoration. A small pear-cut pink/red ruby sits in a removable silver bezel setting and can be moved down the line into any of the 7 candle slots. The setting has a clip insert designed to slide out when pinched, but it can be a bit tricky to remove.
The back of the pendant is fitted with a horizontal safety pin, a hidden double loop bail, and has been stamped 'Binel' and 'GIM 925' .
There is some wear to portions of the gold vermeil, most notably on the back, and the silver flame setting has considerable tarnishing. Otherwise, the piece remains in excellent vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and discoloration.
