14K Filigree Mabe Pearl Pendant, Beautiful Leaf Overlay, Mother Of Pearl Backing, 34mm

An ethereal 14k filigree mabe pearl pendant with an iridescent mother of pearl backing. The pearl cabochon has a lustrous reflection and sits inside an open back setting framed with a beautiful leaf overlay and suspended from a matching filigree bail. It looks like the mother of pearl cabochon has been glued to the back of the mabe pearl cabochon and is secured with gold prong clamps. Unfortunately one of the four prongs has broken off (see photos), but the pearl remains secure with only minimal shifting.

The back of the bail and all the prong clips are hallmarked '14k', and the gold has been acid tested for authenticity. In good vintage condition with described wear and age-appropriate discoloration.
