This striking necklace features a Danish Modernist sterling silver malachite pendant signed by Peter Ernst and a 2mm silver herringbone chain with a spring-ring clasp. The pendant features a silver oval setting of malachite, soldered to the top of an open silver frame with accent petaled details below. The malachite is recognizable by its well know banded pattern, but it also features bubbled inclusions and a beautiful gradient of green hues that really makes it stand out. The pendant is displayed on a short herringbone chain-almost choker length, with an S/S sterling metal tag. Stamped Sterling P.Ernst on the back of the pendant for authenticity and in great vintage condition with minor silver tarnishing and wear to the stone.
