Absolutely incredible abstract modernist sterling silver pierced dome ring. This one-of-one custom-made piece comes from an artisan jewelry maker in Brooklyn who specializes in experimental jewelry. The design is quite amazing and features a tapered silver band with a fitted pierced dome cap that screws on and off. The ring reminds of a salt and pepper shaker cap and can be adjusted to change the look of the ring. When the cap is fully screwed on, it sits perpendicular to the band, but it can also be adjusted to align with the ring face. The silver has a bright luster to it with brushed texturing. Given its age, there is some minor wear/discoloration, but overall it's in great condition.
