Vintage Artisan Woman Face Brooch, Signed Hessel '89, Fragmented Face Pin, Unique White Ceramic Face Brooch, Hand Carved Face Pin

Super unique fragmented face brooch signed by the artist. Featuring a realistic depiction of woman's face, with hand carved details, including blank eyes, lips, eyebrows, and a 3D nose. The left side of the face is rendered jagged, as to look like its broken off of a larger sculpture. This piece is incredibly striking, and I've never seen anything quite like it. We are unsure of the material but it may be ceramic or wood. Signed Hessel '89 on the back and in great condition.
