Vintage Art Deco Patterned Bead Evening Bag, Enameled Mother Of Pearl & Marcasite, Brass Hardware, Black Silk Lining, No Purse Chain, 6" L

Stunning beaded art deco evening bag with mother of pearl and enamel. The purse features a peacock feather-like fine bead pattern with black, silver, gold, and red beads, and engraved brass hardware. The top of the bag features 3 prong-set panels of mother of pearl, the center panel being a hinged snap clasp, each with pink and blue enamel designs. There are also accent marcasite stones and small loops for a purse chain. The inside of the bag is lined with a silky black fabric with one additional pocket. There are no tags or hallmarks but it's beautifully crafted and well preserved. In good vintage condition with some wear and discoloration expected with its age.
