A breathtaking 14k gold brilliant diamond engagement ring from the 1940's Art Deco era. The dazzling center stone is .5 CT and sets in a square bezel setting with 3 diamond accents flanking on either side. The thinly tapered yellow gold band has a decorative cutout cathedral shank and has a wonderful polished finish. The inner band has been engraved with the name/initials of the original owner and the date 7-27-40. The ring has been marked '14k' and the gold has been acid tested for authenticity. There is some minor discoloration and wear to the band and setting, but the diamonds and overall appearance of the ring have remained in good condition.
