Victorian Style Cameo Pendant Brooch In Sterling Silver, Large Ornate Multi-Stone Pendant, 4" L

A stunning Victorian style cameo multi-stone pendant brooch in sterling silver. Features a grand ornate silver filigree setting with an iridescent shell cameo of a girl with flowers in her hair set in the center. The sprawling silver setting is decorated with floral and leaf embellishments and boasts an arrangement of beautiful bezel set gemstones. Stones include moonstone, garnet, and some other type of translucent quartz/glass.

A huge necklace bail is affixed to the back of the pendant slightly below the top, as well as a horizontal safety pin and catch, so the pendant can also be secured as a brooch. The piece is unsigned, we're not sure of its age/origin, but inside of the bail is hallmarked '925' for authenticity. Overall in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and tarnishing.
