An incredible Matilde Poulat style TAXCO sterling silver amethyst art deco necklace. Features 25 pyramid faceted amethyst stones individually set in a square diamond-shape bezel settings with a concentric circle trim. The settings are strung together with oval links and secures with a standard box clasp hallmarked '925 Mexico TN-252'.
The stones have some minor chips and abrasions that are difficult to see with the naked eye and all remain secure in their original settings. The box clasp is secure but there are four loops designed for security chains that no longer exist. It may be worth replacing these for an added confidence.
The silver has a natural gray patina with some tarnishing and fine surface scratches that are consistent with age and use. Overall in great vintage condition.
