We have an incredible signed Native American peyote bird turquoise chip necklace by legendary Navajo master silversmith, Tommy Singer. Singer worked prominently during the 60's and 70's and created a new jewelry art from by adapting and transforming traditional Native American styles into fabulous contemporary design.

This robust peyote bird squash blossom necklace boasts a unique and innovative turquoise chip mosaic inlay on sterling silver. The necklace features a peyote bird Naja pendant and 14 spiked 'squash blossoms' displayed on a double strand of Navajo pearls . Each piece is decorated with the bright blue turquoise inlay along with hammered/engraved silver accents. The back of the pendant is hand signed 'AZ 9AY' and the squash blossom are stamped with Singers makers mark 'TC (quarter-moon symbol)' for authenticity.

The silver has a lovely natural gray patina commonly seen in older pieces and the turquoise inlays remain vibrant and detailed. Overall in great vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and tarnishing.
