Modernist 14K Amethyst Cocktail Ring

A dazzling modernist 14k amethyst cocktail ring from the mid-20th century. Features a polished yellow spiral setting with purple amethyst stone mounted in the center. The amethyst is round-cut, natural, and sits securely in a 3-prong setting.

The inner band is engraved for F&F Felger, a New Jersey based jewelry company founded in the early 20th century. This particular ring is believed to be more of a mid-century piece circa the 50's. The ring also hallmarked '14K' and the gold has been acid tested for authenticity.
