Japanese Lusterware Porcelain Salt & Pepper Boats W/ Ladies In Retro Swimwear, Cute Mini Sugar Bowls, Vintage Dinnerware Collectibles

A super cute pair of glazed porcelain mini boat dishes with ladies in retro swimwear. These babies were designed to hold seasoning such as salt, pepper, and sugar, but they can certainly be used for whatever you like. They also look super on display and would make a great gift for someone who collects tiny tchotchkes and knick knacks. The back base of the boats are marked with a serial number but we were not able to find any details on the maker. We believe they were probably a part of a set from a Japanese lusterware collection. Both dishes remain fully intact with no notable chips, cracks or damage to the glaze. Overall in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and discoloration.
