An incredible 14k black opal ring in yellow gold. Features a breathtaking iridescence opal doublet, set flush inside a rounded rectangular bezel setting. While the dazzling blue stone is certainly a focal point, the shank boasts a mirrored figural design of two ladies holding up the stone setting. The ring is sculpted from solid 14k gold and looks to be a custom, one-of-a-kind piece.

There are no notable hallmarks or makers marks, but the gold has been acid tested for authenticity. There is notable damage to the side of the opal inlay (see photos), and hairline cracks can be seen running throughout the face (may be natural), but the rest of the stone remains intact and secure in its setting. There is some discoloration to portions of the gold facade, but nothing of considerable note. Overall this ring remains in great vintage condition and would make a wonderful addition to a a discerning jewelry collection.
