Estate 14K Amethyst Teardrop Pendant Necklace, Gold Ribbon Setting, Snail Link Chain, 18 1/4"

A timeless amethyst teardrop pendant necklace in 14k yellow gold. Features a lovely pear-cut amethyst stone mounted in a ribbon-trim bezel setting and suspended from a 'CA Co.' snail link chain with a spring-ring clasp. Both the pendant bail and chain are hallmarked '14k' and have been gold acid tested for authenticity, however they have a slightly different yellow gold tone and most likely were not created by the same maker. Regardless, they came to us together and we think they make a great pair. The amethyst is believed to be genuine, however we are not gemstone experts.

There is some noticeable discoloration to the ribbon details on the pendant but otherwise this necklace remains in great vintage condition with appropriate wear.
