An iconic Egyptian revival 14 scarab bracelet. Features 6 hand-carved natural gemstone cabochons, each with its own unique colors and inclusions, bezel set in yellow gold oval links with a lobster claw clasp. Stones included are tigers eye, carnelian, green onyx, black onyx, rhodonite, and unakite. The bezel links have open backs and the gemstones have an incredible luster and iridescence when illuminated.
The back of one of the scarab settings is hallmarked ‘14k’ with a jewelers mark of what looks like the letters 'JRC' arranged in a circle. We were not able to find any details on the designer, age, or origin, but we are confident the gemstones are real and we have acid tested gold for authenticity. All of the stones remain secure in their setting with minimal wear. There are a few bezel link loops with solder marks from previous repairs, but nothing that affects the overall look of the piece. All the links seems to be in good secure condition but they've clearly been damaged in the past. Otherwise the bracelet remains in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and discoloration.
