Brutalist 14K Green Topaz Cocktail Ring, Textured Organic Yellow Claw Setting, Estate Jewelry, Size 5 US

A remarkable brutalist 14k green topaz solitaire ring for an eclectic jewelry collection. Features a sizeable round-cut gemstone mounted in an organic 6-prong claw setting with dotted texturing and a lustrous yellow gold finish. The faceted green gemstone is a unique hue, somewhere between emerald and forest green. We're not certain of its green topaz but it is believed to be genuine. The abstract setting gives the prongs an asymmetric look, but the design is intentional and the stone remains secure. There is a solder line on the band from previous resizing. The ring falls between a size 5 and 5 1/2 US.

The inner band is hallmarked '14k' and the gold has been acid tested for authenticity. There are no maker marks but the striking design and unusual gemstone choice suggest it may have been a custom piece. There is some minor wear and slight shifting of the stone, but overall the ring remains in exceptional vintage condition.
