A beautiful amber cabochon brooch pin in sterling silver. Features a large, incredibly included piece of amber mounted in an ornate silver frame with art nouveau style decoration and floral motifs. The amber has an oblong oval shape with a nicely polished finish and sits in an open back setting for maximum illumination. The brooch is secured with a modern safety catch and a custom-made hinge pin.

This silver has a natural gray patina with polished accents and looks great paired with the warm honey color of the amber. The pin is stamped with some hard-to-read hallmarks (what looks like AG 925), but we could not find any details on its age or origin. In excellent vintage condition with age-appropraite wear and discoloration.
