Antique French Repousse Silver Snuff Box/Locket Pendant Necklace, Floral & Wreath Design, Pearl Station Watch Fob Chain W/ Dog Clip, 29" L

Such a lovely antique French repousse silver pendant necklace. This piece is from the early 1900s and was likely used as a trinket or pillbox, or possibly even a ladies powder or snuff-box which was popular during the 18th & 19th centuries. The pendant is cylindrical with a hinged lid and features intricate floral/wreath embossing on the outer shell and a gold gilt inside. The box is suspended from a watch fob chain with silver bar links, stationed pearls, a dog clip, and a spring-ring clasp. The chain is hallmarked "800" making this an 80% silver piece. The piece has been cleaned/polished and is in overall great vintage condition with minor wear and tarnishing.
