An incredible reversible 14k white gold filigree flip ring with a carved cameo lady on one side, and dazzling amethyst and diamond accents on the other. The ring is constructed in the classic art deco signet style with ornate gold wire designs and a rectangular-shaped ring face. The filigree frame is nested with a reversible white gold bezel setting connected via two small pins on the sides. The top of the inner setting has a small bead that snaps into the frame so whichever ring face is top-side remains flat and secure.
The amethyst ring face features a unique grid arrangement of 4 marquise-cut stones, with a diamond-shaped center set with a tiny .001 CT diamond accent. The gold surrounding the gemstones holds small floral repousse embellishments that add a wonderful texture to the setting. The cameo ring face features a classic relief shell carving of a lady's bust wearing a diamond pendant necklace. Unfortunately, the stone has been lost in its age. The rest of the cameo remains in good condition with age-appropriate wear.
The inner band is engraved '14k' and the gold has been acid tested for authenticity. The ring is in good vintage condition for its age, with some minor imperfections to portions of the filigree, specifically the sides wear the setting snaps into place. The setting does continue to reverse without issue, but a gentle force is required and could damage the ring if done incorrectly.
