14K Citrine Ruby Cocktail Ring, Large Emerald-Cut Gemstone, Yellow Gold Setting, Estate Jewelry, 6 3/4 US

An opulent 14k citrine ruby cocktail ring in yellow gold. The focal point of this piece boasts a huge emerald-cut citrine gemstone with small square red ruby accents flanking either side. The faceted yellow stone is prong-set in an ornate yellow gold scroll setting with a tapered yellow gold band.

There are no hallmarks but the gold has been acid tested for authenticity. The stones have some notable wear and one of the prong arms is broken however this does not seem to affect the security of the stone. Concerning the band, there is a dent near where it meets the setting which has caused a crack. This is difficult to see in the photos. This damage does not compromise the structural integrity of the ring. Despite this wear to the ring it still looks stunning on and has a character to it that only a well-loved vintage piece can.
