Vintage Art Deco 10K Gold Filigree Amethyst Bar Pin

An elegant 14k gold filigree ladies' bar pin with a gorgeous purple amethyst stone.

Features a yellow gold marquise-shaped frame with filigree lattice details, nouveau-style scrolls designs, and an oval-cut amethyst stone in the center. The faceted purple stone sits securely in a simple bezel setting with an open back for illumination.

The delicate filigree frame has some minor wear and warping, but nothing of considerable note. The back of the setting has a horizontal safety pin with a 1930's modern latch. There are no notable hallmarks but the gold has been acid tested for authenticity. In overall good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and discoloration.
