Signed modernist sterling silver malachite brooch pin. Features a circular silver disc overlayed with a brass triangle and and set with a natural green malachite cabochon. The stone sits in a raised center bezel setting with a long silver tail coming out the side.
The unusual design reminds of an abstract mouse but its form is open to interpretation. The back of the piece is signed by that artist and is most-likely a hand-made, one-of-one piece. There is some notable discoloration to the brass around the malachite setting, but nothing that affects the overall look of the piece. In good vintage condition with some minor wear and tarnishing.
