Ornate 14K Pearl Cameo Brooch

An ornate 14k pearl cameo brooch pin. Features a classic relief shell carving of a lady's bust framed in an extravagant yellow gold setting with an intricate scroll border and prong-set pearl embellishments. There are a total of 12 round pearls arranged in an alternating size pattern.

The back of the brooch is also quite unique and features a decorative cutout backing and two crossed gold bar safety pins with modern-style latches. There are no makers marks but the back of the setting has been inscribed '14k' and the gold has been acid tested for authenticity.

In amazing vintage condition with minimal damage, wear, or discoloration.
