Height: 3/8"
Seed Pearls: 2mm +/-
Weight: 10.6 grams
An incredibly ornate and finely detailed 14K gold enamel pearl seed brooch pin from the early 1900s. The piece has heavy art deco influences and features a tiered medallion style design with hand-engraved/filled filigree enamel and small iridescent purple/gary pearl accents. The center seed pearl sits in a scalloped bezel setting at the top of a center gold enamel pyramid and is flanked on either side by a three pearl pave style setting. The back of the brooch horizontal safety pin and an off-center necklace loop. The pin and latch look a bit newer than the rest of the piece and may have been replaced at some point. There are no hallmarks on the piece but the gold has been acid tested for authenticity.
While there are some imperfections to the piece, including some discoloration and minor warping to the back edges and safety pin, the fine details have remained incredibly beautiful and sharp. Overall this brooch pin is in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and discoloration.
