A timeless 14k diamond starburst mourning locket for a Victorian inspired jewelry collection. Features a polished round case made of solid yellow gold with a stunning old mine cut diamond on the front, and an etched monogram on the back. The diamond measures approximately .08CT and sits in a hand-cut starburst setting.
The locket is opened via two small lips on side of the case (one on each rim) to reveal two small picture windows with a dark red fabric lining. Unfortunately, only one of the plastic photo covers remains.
The locket is suspended from a small gold loop and can be worn with a chain/necklace upto in 3.5 mm thick. There are no notable hallmarks or makers marks, but the gold has been acid tested for authenticity, and the diamond is believed to be genuine. In good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and discoloration.
