These earrings were designed as an homage to the ornamental traditions of ancient Anatolian civilizations, most notably seen in the their complex hand-made flat woven rugs. Anatolian motifs usually features a symbolic shape or geometric pattern, and are designed to represent various desires and protections from the evil eye.

A spectacular modernist take on traditional Anatolian art, these earrings are crafted in a solid 18k gold and feature a gleaming liquid metal star/cross design with hallmarked 'URART 750' gold hooks. They come packaged in their original designer wooden jewelry box with informational paperwork and a signed Certificate of Authenticity from Turkey dated '1.12.1998'.
